Sonia provided care and support in the home for my elderly parents. She was patient, considerate and always listening. The plan was for her to focus on my father as he presented with an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. She visited him weekly and formed a strong relationship while providing the family with important medical updates.
She managed to understand the appreciate the need for a considerate relationship with my mother as the weeks and months progressed with my father having experienced a fall and helping her come to terms with the progress of the Alzheimer’s.
She helped the family think through and guide my mother and father into respite and finally residential care where she continued to visit them and help settle in. We are so grateful for her care, her expertise and advice and her genuine professional relationship with my parents
and would highly recommend her. – Nino Totino
Sonia has a strong sense of dedication and responsibility and she was the perfect fit for our set of circumstances. She was well liked and respected by my late mother. My 81 year old mother looked forward to hours with Sonia.
They went to the shops, to appointments, I often overheard them chatting and laughing. Often Sonia was just needed by the bedside for a chat and some decent company. She made delicious food for her, too.
At the end of her days my mother was so carefully taken care of, we were all lucky to have her as part of the fabric holding it all together at a very tough time for our whole family. Her professional skills and extensive experience were reflected in her work with mum but it was Sonia’s warmth that shone brightest. – Rasa Ungar
Sonia cared for my husband in the last 3 weeks of his life. She was very competent and caring and included stimulating conversation with him when he was able.
He relaxed when she was his carer as did the rest of us. Sonia also spoke to my children with calmness and understanding. I would recommend her for any position she chose to work on. – Lorna
During the holidays Sonia takes care of my daughter who is 15y years old and has autism.
She needs ongoing supervision and assistance. Sonia helps with her daily care, whilst encouraging her to maintain her independence. Also assisting with access to the community and her interest. Sonia is lovely and friendly thank you for your care and patience. – Chrissy
